Intentions 2012

So much is expected of this simple date, 2012!
As I look around and listen to conversations, client's beliefs and fears, and remarks in random conversations, I can feel the fear and desperation as well as the excitement in what this year has yet to bring.
For me, I have decided that this year will bring a breath of fresh air into mine and my family's life. Focusing on clear thoughts and emotions, pinpointing my goals and desires and having yet another chance to have those come alive is an exhilarating thought!
Once again, I am presented with a clean canvas in front of me, and I can choose portrait or landscape, what brilliant colors I want to use, and best of all, I can choose what to paint. What exciting possibilities lay ahead for me? What do I want to achieve this year? All at once, the rush of my love for painting floods my body, elevating my oxitocin levels and bringing a smile to my face. What an opportunity!


Some of the pictures are already coming to life: a carefree schedule, where I can be present and enjoy every moment that passes by. Whether that is basking in my quiet time, at work, or carpooling the kids to and from school. Listening in, and being open to what silence has to gift to me, being present for my clients, or enjoying the laughter and giggles of the kids as they ride in the car with not a care in their mind. Pictures and feelings of love, appreciation, respect and grattitude wash through me as I think about my husband. We have come so far together and have helped each other grow spiritually, emotionally and in love. Words are not enough to express my grattitude for my soul mate. Am I ever so thankful! And my kids! Such wonderful beings full of energy, wits and a big heart. We are here to teach them and carry them forward, showing them how to be loving and compassionate souls. A huge committment and a real honor! Sometimes, I get a glimpse of the fact that they are here to help me as well. Reminding me to be kind and loving and keeping me in check when I occassionally do not carry myself the way I would like. And I can see my business thriving and smiling and feel the relaxation on my client's bodies and faces as they leave my office. What a gift to be able to remind people about the power that we have to create our own lives. To show them how to once again take over their lives, relieve chronic pain, fatigue and dysfunctional relationships. Funny, how some of my clients are also sent my way to help me in my journey. Ever felt like while trying to help a friend in need, solutions to your own struglles suddenly emerge? Nothing ever happends by chance! We are all so interconnected, living a life whose sublime recipe's main ingredient is love. When we open up and share that freely, miracles happen and life flows so much easier. Dis-ease in our life is created when we stand in the way of the flow and stubborny declare that we will have it our way. Well, I declare 2012 to be the gate opener for me. A time when I will consioussly open up my heart to give and receive love, promise to be here for you and let the transparency of my loving heart guide me.
Here's to a fabulous New Year and to a thriving life!

Recently, I was gifted a book: Deep Truth, by Gregg Braden. And it is filled with deep truths, that awaken up our inner quest to find out who we are and what we are doing here. The Law of Intention and Desire

The Law of Intention and Desire: Inherent in every intention and desire is the mechanics for its fulfillment. Intention and desire in the field of pure potentiality have infinite organizing power. When we introduce an intention in the fertile ground of pure potentiality, we put this infinite organizing power to work for us.

I will put the Law of Intention and Desire into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1. I will make a list of all my desires. I will carry this list with me wherever I go. I will look at this list before I go into my silence and meditation. I will look at it before I go to sleep at night. I will look at it when I wake up in the morning.
2. I will release this list of my desires and surrender it to the womb of creation, trusting that when things don't seem to go my way, there is a reason, and that the cosmic plan has designs for me much grander than even those I have conceived.
3. I will remind myself to practice present-moment awareness in all my actions. I will refuse to allow obstacles to consume and dissipate the quality of my attention in the present moment. I will accept the present as it is, and manifest the future through my deepest, most cherished intentions and desires.
